Office Visit

An Office visit is when a person calls to schedule an appointment to discuss vaccines or travel consultations.

Hepatitis A

Hepatitis A vaccine is a vaccine that prevents hepatitis A. It is effective in around 95% of cases and lasts for at least twenty years and possibly a person’s entire life. If given, two doses are recommended beginning after the age of one. It is given by injection into a muscle.

Hepatitis B

Hepatitis B vaccine is a vaccine that prevents hepatitis B. The first dose is recommended within 24 hours of birth with either two or three more doses given after that. This includes those with poor immune function such as from HIV/AIDS and those born premature.

Hepatitis A & B

The combined vaccine is used to provide protection against hepatitis A and hepatitis B. It is given by injection into muscle. It can be given to anyone 18 years of age and older and is given as three shots over 6 months. 

Covid-19 PCR Test Within

PCR Testing or the NAAT testing is a Coronavirus Test wherein the nucleic acid of the virus is being tested. Fast result is available within 2 hours.

Covid-19 PCR Test Within 48 Hours

PCR Testing or the NAAT testing is a Coronavirus Test wherein the nucleic acid of the virus is being tested. This test is free of charge.

Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Within 2 Hours

Antigen testing is a Coronavirus Test around Scottsdale that looks at the outer surface of the virus itself.  Fast result is available within 2 hours.

Japanese Encephalitis

A purified protein derivative (PPD) skin test is a test that determines if you have tuberculosis (TB) bacterium in your body.TB is a serious infection, usually in the lungs, caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis. 

Rabies

The rabies vaccine is a vaccine used to prevent rabies. There are a number of rabies vaccines available that are both safe and effective. They can be used to prevent rabies before, and for a period of time after exposure to the rabies virus, which is commonly caused by a dog bite or a bat bite.

Shingles

Shingles vaccination is the only way to protect against shingles and postherpetic neuralgia (PHN), the most common complication from shingles. 

TDAP Vaccine

TDap (Adacel®and Boostrix®) is a combination of vaccines that gives a person protection against three life-threatening diseases: Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis.

Tetanus/Diphteria

Td vaccine is a vaccine used to prevent tetanus and diphtheria. Td is usually given as a booster dose every 10 years, or after 5 years in the case of a severe or dirty wound or burn. 

Typhoid Vaccine

Typhoid vaccines are vaccines that prevent typhoid fever. There are two vaccines to prevent typhoid fever. One is an inactivated (killed) vaccine and the other is a live, attenuated (weakened) vaccine. 

Varicella Vaccine

Varicella vaccine, also known as chickenpox vaccine, helps prevent a person from contracting varicella, the virus that causes chickenpox. It is a transmissible disease caused by the varicella-zoster virus (VZV). Two doses of the vaccine is 90% effective in preventing varicella infection.

Yellow Fever Vaccine

Yellow fever vaccine is a vaccine that protects against yellow fever. Yellow fever is a viral infection that occurs in Africa and South America. Most people begin to develop immunity within ten days of vaccination and 99 percent are protected within one month, and this appears to be lifelong.

Influenza/Flu

The Flu vaccine is a vaccine developed to protect against flu. It causes antibodies to develop in the body about two weeks after vaccination. 

HPV

Human papillomavirus vaccines are vaccines that prevent infection by certain types of human papillomavirus, which can cause cervical cancer.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is an essential vitamin found in foods such as meat, fish, and dairy and can also be made in a lab and is often taken with other B vitamins. It is required for the function and development of many parts of the body, including the brain, nerves, and blood cells.

COVID 19 Moderna
